Meet the “C” in the DISC

Meet Tim. He’s someone who tends to be direct and consistent, sometimes described as compliant. He is usually pretty level-headed and impersonal in his communication. He seems to stick with the facts and thrives on procedures.

Tim is a High C-Style communicator. What does that mean?

The High C-style (Compliant) relates to a person's relationship with rules, regulations, and procedures.

A person with a high “C” communication style has a tendency to be steady in their tone and pace.

They focus on logic and facts. They have a tendency to ask a lot of detailed questions to get a full picture to ensure the facts come together into a cohesive plan before making a decision and moving forward.

Because of this, they can be perceived as curt or short because they are focused on facts.
